iProt™ KERATIN VEGE
Keratin is an insoluble fibrous protein of high molecular weight. It is composed by a sequence of 18 amino acids interlinked by hydrogen, salted and disulphide bridges. Skin and hair are composed by proteins, and proteins are formed by peptides–amino acids polymers with a specific distribution and composition. iProt Keratin Vege PF is a hydrolyzed protein solution of vegetal origin, mimetic to animal protein. These proteins are obtained from cereal grains (wheat and soy). The solution is enriched with amino acids which complements its composition, becoming similar to keratin. iProt Keratin Vege PF is a hydrolyzed protein derivative and has tissue compatibility. The hydrolysis process results in a complex of low molecular weight, easily adsorbed by skin and hair.

Preservatives: 0.3% of parabens. There is no need to store under refrigeration. The final product should contain additional preservative different to aldehyde or its derivative (formaldehyde).

- iProt Keratin Vege PF may be incorporated in:
- Aqueous solutions
- incorporate initially iProt Keratin Vege PF in water before adding other raw materials.
- Emulsions
- should be incorporated in the aqueous phase, simultaneously with other water soluble raw materials. Alcoholic solutions: can be incorporated in hydro alcoholic solutions which contain maximum of 20% V/V alcohol. The final product should be filtered at least 48 hours post processed.

24 months. iProt Keratin Vege PF presents good stability at room temperature (15 to 35ºC). Store dry and tightly closed, protected from sunlight.. Note: During storage it may get turbid and precipitation may occur but this will not invalidate the complex.
