MICORTHANE™ 6-75P ELASTOMETRIC PRIMER
- Chemical Family
- Polyurethanes (PU), UrethanesPolyurethanes (PU)Urethanes
Micorthane™ 6-75P Elastometric Primer is a two component, high solids urethane elastomer primer, that remains flexible even at extremely low temperatures. This 82.0% non-volatile primer provides an extremely flexible membrane which has excellent resistance to water, aqueous acids, bases and salts. The high degree of strength and flexibility provided by this coating reduces failures due to cracking or shifting of substrata.

- HIGHLIGHTS
MICORTHANE™ 6-75P is an excellent a primer that provides a flexible waterproof membrane for both urethane and epoxy coatings. This primer is designed for usein breweries, food preparation facilities, ponds also containment areas and MICORTHANE™ 6-75Pisrecommended as a superior waterproofing membrane for tank linings, concrete and Joint filler.
- Surface Preparation
Preparation is the most important part of any installation. Be sure that the surface to be coated is dry, clean, sound and free of grease, oil, old coatings, concrete curing compounds, dust and any other foreign material which may inhibit adhesion, by acid etching or mechanical means.
- Application and Mixing
When additional thickness is required, glass mat is applied to the first coat. A second coat of 6-75P is then applied at 100 sq.ft/gallon.
- Temperature Limitations
During installation and cure the surface temperatures between 60°F - 90°F are recommended.. The product should be at room temperature, as well as Lower room temperatures will greatly increase the cure time.
