- HIGHLIGHTS
MICORTHANE™ 6 -23 is a cost effective, two component polyurethane used to provide excellent corosion and abrasion resistance to concrete, metal and wood. Offers outstanding exterior durability. Recommended for use with skid resistant and textured surface flooring systems only.
- Chemical Resistance
(Spot Test) Results; Spot tests may not be a true indication of the chemical resistance of a coating. Variations in concentration and time of exposure can give results which are substantialy different from those predicted by a spot test.; 5 = Outstanding, no effect; 4 = Very Good, very slight softening; 3 = Good, slight softening; 2 = Fair, moderate softening; 1 = Poor, severe softening
- Surface Preparation
Preparation is the most important part of any installation. Be sure that the surface to be coated is dry, clean, sound and free of grease, oil, old coatings, concrete curing compounds, dust and any other foreign material which may inhibit adhesion, by acid etching or mechanical means.
- Application and Mixing
DO NOT ALLOW MATERIAL TO PUDDLE. MICORTHANE™ 6 -23 is not designed to provide a perfectly smooth finish.
- Temperature Limitations
During installation and cure the surface temperatures between 60°F - 90°F are recommended. The material should be at room temperature, as well. Lower temperatures will greatly increase the cure time.
