- Safety
RECKLI Mold Wax contains a flammable mixture of hydrocarbons. Provide sufficient ventilation in the working place. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames or any other ignition sources. Do not smoke! Protect skin and eyes from material splashes. Please consult the relevant safety data sheet and attend to the indications on the label of the package regarding the Dangerous Goods Regulation. This pamphlet is intended solely as an application directive. It does not claim to be binding and valid for all modes of application. A preliminary test under operation conditions is highly recommended.. This pamphlet replaces all previously published pamphlets concerning RECKLI Mold Wax, stating them as no longer being valid.

- Storage
Store in a dry, well ventilated place at room temperature. Keep the container tightly-closed; do not expose to direct sun irradiation. Keep away from any sources of ignition, do not smoke. Opened drums must be closed airtight right after use to prevent thickening due to continuous evaporation of solvents.. RECKLI Mold Wax may gel at temperatures below & 5°C or by absorption of water. In these cases, even after warming, it is no longer usable without restrictions.
- Processing
RECKLI Mold Wax tends to settle. To achieve a homogeneous mixture, the cans should be thoroughly shaken before use. We recommend applying two thin coat of RECKLI Mold Wax, evenly spread by brush, cloth or spray gun. Each layer must be completely dried before the next one can be applied. Make sure no areas remain uncovered due to concealed spots or blind areas. RECKLI Mold Wax must also be completely dried before filling the mold. The evaporation time is approximately 1– 4 hours, depending on the temperature and the ventilation.
- Properties
RECKLI Mold Wax is a solvent-based dispersion of a high-quality, fine-particle hard wax. It does not affect the curing of RECKLI two-component materials.
- Consumption
Approx. 50 - 100 ml/m², depending on the nature of the substrate.

- Cans
- Packaging Size
- cans: 5 l | _x0010_1 l.
- Surface Preparation
The surface must be dry and clean. Absorbing surfaces should be previously sealed to prevent the absorption of the separating film. Substrates that are not solventresistant must be protected by an impermeable coating before RECKLI Mold Wax can be applied.
