N-LITE® LP - 32596100
N-LITE® LP - 32596100 modified food starch, is used as a fat mimetic in cold-process liquid food systems. The “LP” designates liquid/pregel applications. N-LITE® LP is very oily, bland in flavor and has outstanding viscosity stability in liquid systems. Zero or low-fat products can be prepared having the organoleptic and textural properties of high quality fat-rich products. N-LITE® LP modified starch does not require cooking and contributes virtually no viscosity to the food product. This product is available under Ingredion Incorporated’s TRUETRACE® Identity Preserved Program for non-GM products.

- Benefits and Features
N-LITE® LP modified starch is designed for cold process liquid systems but is very resistant to heat, acid and mechanical shear.; N-LITE® LP should be blended with other dry ingredients for easiest dispersal in water. Vigorous agitation is also helpful.; N-LITE® LP modified starch is compatible with other ingredients commonly used in food products.
- Packaging Information
N-LITE® LP modified starch is packaged in multi ply kraft paper bags with a net weight of 50 lbs.
- Microbiological Limits
Initial testing is done on a single composite sample against a limit of m. If result is above m, the three class sampling and acceptance below is used.. Where n = # of samples tested; c = maximum allowable number of results between m and M; m = upper target limit; M = maximum acceptable value.
