53 Floor Mix Mortar is a dry-set mortar providing good bond strength with minimal shrinkage. Select quality blend of Portland cement, mineral fillers and special additives providing ease of application, good open time and adjustability.

Freshly mixed cement, mortar, concrete or grout may cause skin injury. Avoid extended contact with skin where possible and wash exposed skin areas promptly with water. If any cement or cement mixtures get into the eye, rinse immediately and repeatedly with water and get prompt medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.

Installation of quarry tile, pavers, ceramic mosaics and most other types of non-absorptive or vitreous ceramic tile.. For installation of porcelain tile mix with Flextile 43 Thin-Set Mortar Additive or Flextile 44 High Solids Thin-Set Mortar Additive.

- Limitations
Do not use for wall installations, use Flextile 51 for all vertical installations.; Do not use over particleboard, Masonite, chipboard, OSB or similar unstablematerials.; Do not use over cushioned resilient fl ooring, rubber, plastic, paint, asphalt, or plywood surfaces in wet areas, or on single layer plywood fl oors.; Use only on surfaces which are maintained at a temperature above 10°C (50°F) and below 35°C (95°F) during application and for at least 72 hours after application.; For exterior applications, mix with Flextile 44 or Flextile 43 latex additives,protect from excessive moisture until thoroughly dried and protect from freezing for at least 14 days after installation.; To use directly over gypsum-based patching or leveling substrates, mix with Flextile 43 Thin-Set Mortar Additive or Flextile 44 High Solids Thin-Set Mortar Additive, also, apply suitable primer before use.; Do not use for moisture-sensitive stone such as green marble, certain limestone and granite, agglomerate tiles, cultured marble or resin-backed tiles. Instead, use Flexepoxy 100 mortar.
