Wohl Coatings BB-110 Pile Paint
BB-110 Pile Paint is a coating with a wide DFT range and a tough, flexible high-melt asphalt solution that protects from 50 to 110°F (no heating required). The specially formulated makeup makes these coatings perfect for use on highway piles and related projects. BB-110 Pile Paint has a special high solids (60% by volume), low VOC content (less than 2.9 pounds per gallon). They're easy to brush, roll on, or spray, making application easy for your crew. A single package comes with no on site mixing with other components it's ready to use out of the can.

- Application
- Surface Preparation
- Designed to be used over surfaces that have been prepared in accordance with SSPC-SP2 Hand Tool Clean specification. In many cases High Pressured Water Blast will suffice.
- Mixing
- Mixing is not required prior to application. Use Brush, Roller or Spray to apply. No special equipment is required.
- Thinning
- Thinning is not required for most applications.
- Drying Time
- The following minimum times are based on 1.5 mils DFT and adequate air ventilation. Higher thickness and reduced air circulation increase drying times.

- Typical Uses
Field-Applied Coating for use a pile coating. BB-110PP is made using a combination of high melt asphalts to provide fast drying and good coating flexibility and toughness. Can also be used to repair other asphalt based coatings. Used to coat bolts and nuts and keep them from rusting which allows them to be removed years later. Excellent exterior durability and adhesion over most metal, wood, and concrete surfaces.
- Primer/Substrates
May be applied directly to properly prepared steel substrates, galvanized steel, and concrete.
