A non-sweet, nutritive saccharide that is manufactured from the partial enzymatic conversion of rice flour yielding an odorless white powder. RiceTrin™ 16 is an excellent bulking agent and carrier. Its functional properties include low sweetness, binding capability, solubility, nonhygroscopic, crystal growth inhibition, low browning tendency, viscosity/bodying agent, freezing point control, low osmotic pressure and film forming properties.
