- Applications Notes
BONDiTTM A-53 is very effective in promoting reactions with polar and non-polar coatings and substrates, acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, vinyl, polyester, phenolic, butyl and urethane. Diverse adhesive combinations of dissimilar materials with significant environmental resistance are obtained when used with other BONDiTTM products. Particulalry useful for cationic cure coat- ings, encapsulants and adhesives such as UV and EB systems.
- Harsh Environments
Marine, Industrial, Downhole oil, Underwater, Mining, Automotive, Medical.
- Primer For Coatings
A one-part, one coat, thin film, rapid ambient or thermal cure primer on metals, glass, ceramics and plastics for coatings of epoxy, urethane, acryic, vinyl, alkyd, polester, butyl and phenolic
- Adhesive & Sealant Type
- 1K (1 Component) Adhesive
- Bonding Agent And Additive
A broad based adhesion promoter and primer that will not poison cationic cure systems, particualry UV and EB cure systems. Suitable for bonding be- tween many dissimilar polymers with a wide range of adhesives types. Good adhesion to substrates of epoxy, polyester, urethane and many thermo- plastics, thermosets, siliceous surfaces like glass and ceramic, as well as most metals.
- Versitile Production Application
Excellent high and low temperature performance, long work-life on cured prime coat. Dip, spray, brush, and roll application.
