The orange had been cultivated since B.C.2500 in China, introduced to Europe. Usaually it is eaten as a fresh fruit or juice, but we have benefitted from it for the purpose of relieving fatigue and digestive agent. Nowadays, it is used in preventing cold, cosmetic and fragrance. Vitamin C in oranges is known for having anti-oxidant and whitening effect. Flavonoids and carotenoids, phytochemicals showing yellow or orange color, also remove free radicals, so they prevent skin damage.
