Morechem™ Evening Primerose Extract

Evening primerose is a nationalized plant native to Chile and grows everywhere in the wild. Its name came from the fact that the flowers bloom from sunset and during night time. Native Indians of North America is known to have used its boiled water to prevent cold or treat asthma, abscess and dermatitis. In Korea, dried roots and whole plants are folk remedies for relieving a fever, a sore throat and skin disease. Also, crushed fresh flowers are good medicine for alleviating bruise and skin damage. Anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects are reported as main efficacy of the evening primerose. Flavonoids in flowers represses the formation of ROS. Furthermore, the ability to suppress the NO synthesis and activate LOX contributes to its anti-inflammatory characteristic.
