Rooibos is a needleleaf tree growing in South Africa. The main characteristic is its red leaves, which gave it the name - 'Red shrub.' Rooibos tea is made from dried leaves and contains no caffeine compared to other teas. However, there are plenty of minerals in the tea. Also, it is an excellent anti-oxidant due to its quercetin and isoorientin, preventing photoaging by lessen the UV-induced stimulation on skin.
