Creative Materials 128-29

128-29 is a screen-printable, UV curable, flexible, ultraviolet-cured pressure sensitive adhesive featuring excellent stability and a high degree of peel strength. 128-29 is unique in that its adhesive strength can be increased by thermal cure after initial radiation exposure. This material can be used on a variety of substrates including but not limited to Mylar, epoxy/glass PC boards, glass, stainless steel, and aluminum. 128-29 is capable of printing as made and does not require dilution.\nFeatures\nHigh peel strength

Suggested Handling and Curing

Material is ready to use as received. Cure using a 200-300 watt/inch mercury vapor lamp. Speed of cure will vary depending upon available energy. Typical cure time ranges from a few seconds to 1 minute when work is positioned 6-10 inches from lamp. Faster curing can be accomplished by moving lamp closer to work or increasing lamp intensity. End user is advised to experiment with intensity, speed, and distance for optimal properties. Adhesive strength can be further enhanced by thermal exposure after UV curing and bonding. Recommended thermal treatment is 125°C for 5-15 minutes.
