Vinkocide® CMIF 14 is a formulation containing CMIT/MIT and (Ethylenedioxy)dimethanol (EDDM). It effectively disrupts microbial cell function, preventing microbial adaptation. With a formaldehyde releaser, it offers headspace protection in in-can preservation. It has a rapid mode of action and is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including Gram-negative bacteria. Ideal for use in aqueous systems. Compatibility testing is recommended for formulations with pH > 9 or sulfur-containing compounds. Not compatible with strong acids or oxidizing agents. Suitable for various preservation applications, including products during storage, liquid-cooling systems, slimicides, and working fluids.
