grotan® WS
grotan® WS offers a water-miscible solution, resulting from the reaction of paraformaldehyde with 2-hydroxypropylamine (ratio 1:1; HPT), suitable for various industrial applications. Designed for use in water-mixed metalworking fluids, metalworking fluid concentrates, and technical emulsions, it ensures comprehensive microbial control. Fully soluble in water and most polar organic solvents, it exhibits a broad, balanced spectrum of effect, including against sulfate-reducing bacteria, ensuring immediate efficacy. Additionally, it boasts good anticorrosion properties, safeguarding equipment integrity. Importantly, grotan® WS contains no nitrate, nitrosing agents, or organically bound chlorine, aligning with environmental standards. As a versatile preservative, it serves as an indispensable solution for preserving manufactured products and ensuring extended shelf life, making it ideal for various industrial processes, including liquid-cooling and processing systems and working or cutting fluid preservatives.
