- Angelica Gigas Extract
Angelica gigas has been used as a an analgesic and anti-fungal agent for a long time in Korean medicine. Traditionally, it comes from the meaning of household medicine that the bride has to take care for female disorders. Decursin, one of the coumarine derivatives, is only extracted from Angelica gigias Nakai. It supresses the expression of MMP-1 and 2 in fibroblast, blocking collagen decomposition and preventing skin aging. ADE-20 is an valuable cosmetic ingredient in anti-aging, because it contains more decursin and decursiol but less heavy odor.
