Apple is originated from Western Asia and many kinds of apple such as Golden Delicious, Gala, Fuji are cultivated around the world. Its pulp contains organic acids - citric acid, malic acid, etc-, which are effective in removing dead skin cells. In its peel and leaves are quercetin, chlorogenic acid and epicatechin, which are anti-oxidant and prevent skin aging. Also, it has been reported that pulp and peel of apple interfere with the activation of elastase, resulting in anti-wrinkle effect.
