Ulmus Davidiana is a deciduous tree growing throughout Korea. In oriental medicine, the stem and bark of roots are called 'Yugeunpi', whose juice is used for treating abscess, injuries and inflammatory skin disease. Polyphenols such as catechi and anthocyanin in yugeunpi remove free radical. At the same time, it has an anfi-inflammatory effect by supressing the formation of NO(Nitric Oxide).
