Camellia sinensis is an evergreen shrub whose leaves are used to produce tea. Tea is divided into several types according to how the leaves are treated. Green tea is non-fermented tea made from tea leaves treated by heating. Catechin, the representative polyphenol in green tea, is much more powerful anti-oxidant than vitamin C and E. If catechin affect with those vitamins and organic acids on our body, those substances create synergistic anti-oxidative effect. In the meantime, theanine, one of the amino acids only found in green tea, helps ease tention
