INCI Name
Resveratrol

Resveratrol is one of the polyphenols derived from some plants such as grape, mulberry and peanut. It is formed when plants are invaded by bacteria or fungi or damaged. By removing free radical, it has an anti-oxidant effect. At the same time, it supresses the biosynthesis of melanin, so it appears a whitening effect, too. Although it is somewhat hydrophobic and unstable, MC-resveratrol is improved form thanks to the microemulsion technology.
