Metal Treatment MT-10® Transmission
Metal Treatment MT-10® Transmission is an anti-friction additive designed to address extreme-pressure areas, such as planetary and worm gear systems, along with bushings, bearings and shafts. It is an industry leader in reducing those costly comebacks because it reduces frictional heat and wear without surface build up.

- Use Direction
- Automatic transmissions
- Add 8 oz. of MT-10® to transmission fluid through the fluid tube. For larger transmissions, i.e. Allisons, add 1.5 oz. of MT-10® to each quart of fluid.
- Standard transmissions
- Add 1 oz. of MT-10® per every pound of gear lube
- Note
- Not recommended for use in Constant Variable Transmissions (CVT) and CVT fluids. Use caution if adding to shared transmission and clutch fluid reservoirs. If the frictional plates of the wet clutch contain metal in the surface coating, MT-10® may cause clutch plate slippage due to the reduced friction.
- Typical Applications
Automatic transmissions; Standard transmissions; MT-10® Transmission can also be applied directly to parts during rebuild

- Benefits and Features
Polishes, seals and protects metal surfaces of internal, moving metal parts; Lowers operating temperatures; Frees valve body for optimum performance; Eliminates governor hang-ups caused by contamination and surface spiking; Keeps oil passages, orifices and ball checks clean and fully operational; Extends transmission life by eliminating premature failure with improved lubrication; Reduces metal particle fallout and debris caused by friction and wear; Removes varnish build up; Eliminates lock-up chatter in the torque converter; Ensures proper shifts; Safe for seals and gaskets; Reduces costly comebacks; Will not affect sprag or clutch friction; Compatible with all petroleum fluids and most synthetics; Lubrication technology based on tribologic methods that improve lubricity and loadcarrying capacity
