The main ingredients of Kingherbs Limited Mulberry Leaf Extract are flavonoids compounds (rutin, quercetin, isoquercitrin etc), alkaloid (DNJ, arabitol etc).The alkaloid DNJ (1- deoxynojirimycin) has the effect of restraining the disaccharidase enzymatic activity, so that it can reduce the peak value of postprandial blood sugar. Furthermore, DNJ also has the effect of insulin sensitization and improving the insulin resistance.
