AFCONA 3777

AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

Product Properties

AFCONA 3777 is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.; Note: AFCONA 3777 is one of the first developments of fluorocarbon modified acrylics and therefore later developments of AFCONA show improved performances.; Due to the fluorocarbon modification, it gives lower surface tension than normal pure polyacrylic leveling agents and therefore it gives better anti-crater performance and substrate wetting.

Storage Information

AFCONA 3777 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
