AFCONA 3588 is a silicone-based leveling, substrate wetting and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings & inks without influence of inter-coat adhesion. AFCONA 3588 is a special designed polyether modified polysiloxane. It moves very fast in the defective part of coatings and can decrease the surface tension easily, and it has good compatibility properties.

AFCONA – 3588 is a special designed polyether modified polysiloxane. It moves very fast in defective part of coatings, and can decrease the surface tension easily, and it has good compatibility properties. Hence, it is very effective in below properties for any water based systems:; Excellent anti-crater behavior.; Improved leveling.; Fast & better substrate wetting.; No inter-coat adhesion problems.; Little or no foam stabilization.

Addition and Dosage 0.1 – 1.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.1 – 0.5% based on total formulation.; 0.1 – 1.0% on total formulation. AFCONA-3588 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
