AFCONA 8531 is a fatty acid modified emulsifier for plasticizer systems. It is an efficient wetting and dispersing agent for organic and inorganic pigments and extenders (such as Sb2O3) in plasticizers. This results in easier incorporation into the plasticizer pastes, leading to a reduction of dispersing time, a strong viscosity reduction of the paste/compound and increased extender/pigment load.
