ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF20

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF20 is a polycarbonate base polymer filled with 20% carbon fibers that is electrically conductive, has reduced surface resistivity, high stiffness, and is heat stabilized. It is suitable for use in machinery and various other market segments, and is typically used in the injection molding of housings, functional components, and protection caps. To ensure optimal performance, pre-drying conditions should be 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%. The melt temperature for injection molding should be between 290-330°C and the mold temperature should be between 80-130°C.
