ALCOM® WP PC+ABS 5008 TFUV 17009

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® WP PC+ABS 5008 TFUV 17009 is a polycarbonate + acrylonitrile butadiene styrene blend containing 8% PTFE, UV stabilized, with improved sliding/wear properties. It is used in the automotive and machinery markets for injection molded parts such as housings, functional components, bearings, and sliding elements. Pre-drying conditions should be in a dry air (desiccant) dryer at 100-110°C for 2-4 hours, or in an air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 4-8 hours depending on moisture content. Processing for injection molding should have a melt temperature of 240-280°C and a mold temperature of 70-100°C. The material should be stored and protected from light.
