ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF10

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF10 is a polycarbonate base polymer with 10% carbon fibers filler/additive system pre-dried under conditions of 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours with a maximum moisture content of less than 0.02%. It has special features, such as being electrically conductive, having reduced surface resistivity, high stiffness, and being heat stabilized. It is used in the machinery market segment for injection molded parts, such as housings and functional components, and the processing injection molding requires a melt temperature of 290-330°C and a mold temperature of 80-130°C.
