MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PPA 930/1 GF30 PTFE15 is a polyphthalamide base polymer with a 30% glass fiber and 15% PTFE filler/additive system that provides improved sliding/wear and high stiffness. It is used in the automotive and machinery market segments for functional components, and is processed through injection molding with a melt temperature of 320-345°C and mold temperature of 135-145°C. For optimal results, it should be pre-dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 110-130°C for 4-8 hours, depending on the moisture content.
