ALTECH® PA6 FC 5040/500 MR40

CAS Number
67784-80-9
Chemical Family
Polyamides

MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® PA6 FC 5040/500 MR40 is a Polyamide 6 based material with a 40% metal filler/additive system. Pre-drying conditions should be 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-12 hours, depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of less than 0.15%. Processing should be done using injection molding with a melt temperature of 270-290°C and a mold temperature of 80-100°C. It has thermal conductive, easy release (demolding), and processing stabilization features. It is typically used in the machinery, packaging, and food processing industries for injection molded parts such as racking/shelving, fixing elements, and housings.
