ALTECH® PC B 1000/576

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® PC B 1000/576 is a polycarbonate base polymer that can be processed using injection molding with a melt temperature of 270-310°C and a mold temperature of 80-110°C. It offers easy release (demolding) features and is used in lighting, building and construction, and various market segments. For pre-drying conditions, it should be dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 120°C for 2-3 hours, or in an air circulating dryer at 100-120°C for 4-12 hours depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%. It should be stored in a dry, light-protected environment not exceeding 30°C for optimal performance.
