TEDUR® L 9511-2
- Chemical Family
- Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)
MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9511-2 is a Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) base polymer filled with 45% glass fibers that offers high stiffness. It is typically used in the automotive, machinery, and injection molded parts markets for applications such as pump components, pump impellers, housings, and high pressure vessels. Pre-drying conditions for TEDUR® L 9511-2 involve drying in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 hours depending on the moisture content. Processing injection molding requires a melt temperature of 320-340°C and a mold temperature of less than 140°C.
