TEDUR® L 9413-1
- Chemical Family
- Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)
MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9413-1 is a polyphenylene sulfide base polymer with 15% carbon fibers, 15% PTFE, and 4% silicone filler/additive system. It has improved sliding/wear, high stiffness, is electrically conductive and scratch resistant. It is typically used in the automotive and machinery markets for applications such as bearings, sliding elements and functional components. Pre-drying conditions involve drying in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 hours depending on the moisture content. During processing via injection molding, the melt temperature should be 320-340°C and the mold temperature should be greater than 140°C.
