TEDUR® L 9406-1

MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9406-1 is a Polyphenylene Sulfide base polymer containing 10% carbon fibers and 50% glass fiber/mineral filler/additive system. It has the special features of being electrically conductive, high stiffness, and low warpage, and is typically used in the automotive and machinery market segments for injection molded parts such as bearings and sliding elements and functional components. Pre-drying conditions involve drying in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 h, depending on moisture content. Processing injection molding requires a melt temperature of 320-340°C and a mold temperature greater than 140°C. Finally, it should be kept away from direct sunlight.
