ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF10 PTFE15

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF10 PTFE15 is a base polymer of polycarbonate combined with 10% carbon fibers and 15% PTFE, providing improved sliding/wear, electrically conductive, and reduced surface resistivity features. It is commonly used in the automotive and machinery industries for housings, functional components, bearings, and sliding elements. For pre-drying, the material should be heated to 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-3 hours, depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of 0.02%. Injection molding requires a melt temperature of 310-330°C and a mold temperature of 80-130°C.
