ALCOM® PC 740/1 PTFE20

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/1 PTFE20 is a polycarbonate base polymer with 20% PTFE filler/additive system, featuring improved sliding/wear properties. It is used in the automotive and machinery market segments, typically for injection molded functional components. The recommended pre-drying conditions are 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-3 hours depending on moisture content. The recommended processing injection molding parameters are melt temperature of 270-310°C and mold temperature of 80-110°C.
