Chemical Family
Polyesters

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® LB PBT FC 2015 17076 GY1069-17 is a gray, opaque, food contact polybutylene terephthalate (Base Polymer) with 15% glass fibers, special filler (Filler/Additive System) designed specifically for light blocking components (Application Area) in the electrical and electronic market segment. It is typically processed through injection molding with a melt temperature of 250-270°C and a mold temperature of 80-120°C. Pre-drying Conditions should be done in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 100-120°C for 2-4 hours, or in an air circulating dryer at 100-120°C for 4-8 hours, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%.
