ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF30

Chemical Family
Polycarbonate (PC)

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/1.1 CF30 is a polycarbonate base polymer with 30% carbon fibers that has special features of being electrically conductive and having reduced surface resistivity and high stiffness. It is typically used for injection molding parts such as housings and functional components. Its pre-drying conditions are 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours, with a maximum moisture content of 0.02%. The melt temperature for injection molding is between 290-330°C, and the mold temperature is between 80-130°C. The product should be stored in a dry and light-protected environment. It is used in the Machinery market segment and should be handled with care to ensure the highest quality.
