- Anionics
DeCAL 1200 is an anionic liquid polymer dispersion in mineral oil, used as a general-purpose thickener providing short flow rheology across a wide pH range. It is highly concentrated, offering good viscosity at low concentrations and improved electrolyte tolerance when compared to traditional alkali swellable emulsions.

- Storage Condition
DeCAL 1200 is freeze thaw stable, however it is recommended to store the product at temperatures above 5°C to enable easy handling of the product.
- Application Methods
DeCAL 1200 is active over a wide pH range (4-11) and requires no additional alkali. The product should be added directly to the coating mix with high efficiency mixing in order to avoid localized thickening. If necessary dilution with the carrier oil can aid addition.. DeCAL 1200 will generally thicken quite rapidly, but the rate of activation is dependent upon temperature, speed of mixing and medium to be thickened.
