Film Properties

SYNTHALAT A 055 is used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates like Desmodur N, non-yellowing coatings are obtained that have excellent weathering resistance and gloss retention. These types of films are characterized by a high flexibility and good adhesion even to problem substrates. Because of the very high compatibility SYNTHALAT A 055 is suitable as the combining resin for A 045, A 065, A 090, A 141 HS and A 150/151.

Properties and Fields of use

SYNTHALAT A 055 is used primarily in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates for nonyellowing coatings for metals and plastics. SYNTHALAT A 055 should be seen as a link between copolymers of lower and higher hydroxyl content and can therefore also be used as pigment paste resin.
