AFCONA 3034
AFCONA 3034 is an additive designed to reduce surface tension, improve substrate wetting, and provide anti-crater performance and leveling, including vertical leveling. Its fluorocarbon modification gives it a very low surface tension, further enhancing its performance in anti-crater properties, substrate wetting, and leveling.

- Applications
To solve the vertical leveling problem, AFCONA – 3034 is often used in combination with other fluorocarbon-modified acrylic leveling additives. These combinations may also solve critical crater problems.; AFCONA-3034 is extremely compatible with most paint systems and can be used in both water - and solvent-based industrial coatings. The advantage of improved substrate wetting (caused by reduced interfacial tension) is often accompanied by foam stabilization. Therefore, it is appropriate to use this product in conjunction with suitable defoamers.; AFCONA – 3034 is recommended for:; AFCONA-3034 also can be use in water-based systems for leveling, anti-crater and slip performance.
