EcoPaXX® Q-KXG6

Chemical Family
Polyamides

EcoPaXX® Q-KXG6 is a bio-based, high-performance polyamide (PA410) that offers outstanding performance across the board. It is mainly made from tropical castor beans, which do not compete with the food chain. It belongs to the family of long-chain polyamides, which provide exceptional performance in demanding environments. This includes excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, a very high melting point (the highest among bio-plastics), and a high crystallization rate. EcoPaXX® Q-KXG6 has the lowest carbon footprint among common polyamides. It is processed using injection molding technology and features good surface properties. It is 30% glass-reinforced and designed for electrical and electronic (E&E) applications.
