DeCAL 9317 can be used as a thickener, viscosity modifier and binder in medium solids applications. It exhibits excellent handling characteristics, dissolving rapidly in water to produce high viscosity solutions. DeCAL 9317 can be used to stabilize and thicken waterborne solutions and dispersions of all kinds of particulate matter. It can be used as an extender with bentonite thickeners in drilling fluids used in the oil industry.
