SYNTHALAT SF 740 HS is a long-oil, drying, high-solid (HS) alkyd resin. This product is recommended for high-quality decorative paint for internal and external applications. It has excellent brushability and filling capacity, minimal dark yellowing, and excellent gloss retention. It has applications in architectural coatings, wood flooring, furniture coatings, decorative paints, and other consumer applications.

SYNTHALAT SF 740 is a particularly high oil and low viscosity alkyd resin, chiefly suitable for high quality decorative paint. The composition of the fatty acid component is specially designed to achieve optimal characteristics with regard to drying, brushability and color tone stability. Varnishes with high solid content are obtained due to the low viscosity of the resin (compliant with the requirements of VOC legislation effective as of 2010).
