Distilled lime oil is colorless to slightly yellow / green in color and has a complex olfactory profile with citrusy, floral, balsamic and woody nuances which, as an important component of cola flavors, contribute to their aroma profile.\n\nFor our customers we create extracts, fragrances and ingredients, which are mainly used in different areas of the flavor and fragrance industry.\n\nDistilled lime oil is obtained from the crushed fruits by steam distillation. Mexico is by far the most important country for the production of oil, with a market share of over 50 %. Peru is another important production country. The oil yield is around 4 kilograms of oil per 1000 kilograms of processed fruit.
