Evermoist™ AGG-50 is aqueous solution consisted of 2-O-α-D-glucosylglycerol (AGG) which was found to have the following characteristics: high thermo-stability, low Maillard reactivity, high water-holding capacity. It has been found that AGG is contained in such traditional Japanese foods brewed by using koji as sake, miso and mirin. AGG can increases the production of IGF-I in the skin through sensory neuron stimulation, thereby increasing skin elasticity.
