- Glass Beads & Fibers
3B Fiberglass CM 4020 is a non-woven mat made out of ECR glass _x005F_x001f_laments, consisting of continuous _x005F_x001f_bres randomly oriented in multiple layers. The glass _x005F_x001f_bre is bonded with a silane coupling agent and the layers held together with a suitable binder. The CFM products contain an insoluble binder compatible with both un_x005F_x001f_lled or _x005F_x001f_lled unsaturated polyester, vinyl, ester, epoxy and polyurethane resin systems. The CM 4020 mat is ideally suited for injection molding RTM and S-RIM processes. The CM 4020 mat has a high rigidity which helps to work with large CFM cuts without loosing _x005F_x001f_bres. The ex-cellent mechanical properties provided by CM 4020 combined with the good electrical properties of the resins make the molded parts attractive for applica-tions like the electrical apparatus (high voltage), transportation and automotive industries, infrastructures equipments.

- Storage
Storage in a cool and dry warehouse into the original packaging is formally recommended. More precisely ideal storage conditions are a temperature between 15°C and 35°C and a relative humidity comprised between 35% and 75%. If these conditions are maintained, the glass _x001f_ bre product should not undergo signi_x001f_ cant changes when stored for extended periods of time. It is also strongly recommended to condition it in the workshop for at least 24 hours before use to prevent condensation. For an optimal processing we recommend to use the product in ambient conditions (20°C-23°C and a relative humidity of 60%-65%).
- PACKAGING
The 3B Continuous Filament Mat is wound on a hard carton tube with an inside hole of 102 mm and an external dia-meter of 110 mm. A PE stretch _x001f_ lm is wrapped around the roll to protect the material during handling and to help the slicing. All CFM rolls have 2 sides trimmed. The outside diameter of the roll is a standard of 55 cm.· For mat widths up to 210 mm : 6 vertical rolls per pallet· For mat widths above 210 mm : 6 horizontal rolls per palletEach roll is identi_x001f_ ed by a roll labelEach pallet is identi_x001f_ ed by minimum one pallet label inclu-ding the date and the pallet weight. The load is _x001f_ xed to the pallet with a stretch _x001f_ lm.
