AstaReal® Softgels are made in the USA from cultivation to extraction. The algae are cultivated in our proprietary fully enclosed indoor cultivation facility in Moses Lake, WA. Indoor cultivation allows optimal algal productivity and harvest timing for best astaxanthin content and stability. AstaReal® Astaxanthin is then extracted from whole algae using a solvent free supercritical fluid carbon dioxide extraction method. The resulting natural astaxanthin oil contains 10% astaxanthin, which is combined with extra virgin olive oil in the finished softgel formulation.. AstaReal® Softgels are a finished formulation containing 2, 4, 6, or 12mg high quality natural astaxanthin.
