AstaReal® L10 is a red, viscous oil that contains at least 10% natural astaxanthin. The astaxanthin-rich oil is produced by non-solvent supercritical carbon dioxide extraction of crushed and spray-dried aplanospores of the green microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. This product is available in European countries, China, and Africa.

AstaReal® L10 is made in the USA from cultivation to extraction. The algae are cultivated in our proprietary fully enclosed indoor cultivation facility in Moses Lake, WA. Indoor cultivation allows optimal algal productivity and harvest timing for best astaxanthin content and stability. AstaReal® L10 is then extracted from whole algae using a solvent free supercritical fluid carbon dioxide extraction method. The resulting natural astaxanthin oil contains 10% astaxanthin and naturally occurring algal lipids.
