Packaging Information

OPTIPET™ 213P powder is supplied in pre-dried form in 20 Kg (44 lbs) PE lined, HD woven sack-laminated paper bags.. They should be stored in cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Processing Conditions

OPTIPET™ 213P is a fine powder.; It should be preferably fed into the extruder through a separate feeder.; The chain extension reaction occurs at temperature around 240°C to 240°C, which is normal for most PET processing.; A residence time of 1-2 minutes in the extruder is desirable.; Dosage depends on quality of the starting material, such as I.V., end groups ratio, and the target properties after modification.; Maximum processing temperature should not exceed 350°C.
